KRISTEN LAMM IS APPOINTED MARKETING MANAGER FOR NPE2015 AND OTHER INDUSTRY EVENTS PRODUCED BY SPI

WASHINGTON, DC, U.S.A., November 5, 2013: Kristen Lamm has joined SPI: The Plastics Industry Trade Association as marketing manager for trade shows and conferences, it was announced today by SPI.

Ms. Lamm is responsible for overseeing advertising and email campaigns, managing website content and social media activities, developing media partnerships, and other marketing efforts in support of SPI’s industry events. In addition to the triennial NPE international plastics exposition, these include the Business of Plastics conference, the new NPE3D exposition of 3D printing technologies, and top-level industry meetings such as this month’s Global Plastics Summit.

“Kristen brings a diversity of skills that will enhance our marketing of SPI’s expanding range of trade shows and conferences,” said Brad Williams, director of marketing and sales. “She will play an important role in raising awareness among plastics industry professionals of the value of our events for the growth of their businesses and the advancement of their careers.”

Kristen Lamm’s experience includes marketing management, website development, brand development, graphic design, strategic planning, and the teaching of marketing skills at the college level. Before joining SPI, she served as a professor of marketing at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida and simultaneously ran her own business as a consultant. Previous positions were those of marketing coordinator for Travel Media Group and marketing manager for the National Center for Construction Education and Research.

Ms. Lamm holds a bachelor of science degree in advertising and a master of science degree in management, both from the University of Florida in Gainesville.
