UNIQUE CAPABILITIES OF ONLINE STORE ENABLE USERS OF HOT RUNNER CONTROLLERS TO EASILY BUILD CUSTOMIZED CABLES AND CONNECTORS

Advanced Functionality of Fast Heat Site Lets Users Maintain Order Histories, Store Constructions for Later Purchase, and Confer with Others about Designs or Purchase Orders

ELMHURST, ILLINOIS, U.S.A., December 6, 2013: A new online store at www.fastheat.com promises to permanently change the way operators of hot runner control systems purchase new or spare cables and connectors, it was announced today by Fast Heat Inc.

The store features a Custom Cable & Connector Builder that enables users of Fast Heat or other brands of hot runner controllers to quickly find, combine, and order the components they need, benefiting from a degree of intuitive functionality that is unavailable on other websites, according to Deborah Dynako, marketing manager. Besides making purchases, visitors can use the online store to maintain histories of constructions that they have bought or plan to buy and to communicate with others in their company regarding purchase orders.

Making these capabilities possible are two unique features of the Fast Heat online store:

? Dashboard for building customized components. Using dropdown menus with photos keyed to each selection, the user can build a component consisting of cable and controller- and mold-side connectors (see photo). Options span the full range of cable and connector types available from Fast Heat and include the capability for color-coding. An estimated price is automatically generated for each cable construction.

? ‘Wishlist’ for cable constructions. After custom-building a component, the customer can send the design directly to the shopping cart for purchase or store it in a wishlist pending further action. The wishlist can be shared with others via email, enabling the user to refer a design to others in the company for comment or revision, or to secure a purchase order.

“Fast Heat’s new online store makes it easy to specify the cable constructions that exactly meet the requirements of a particular molding operation and to streamline the process of authorizing and placing an order,” said Ms. Dynako. “Reordering is easy as well, since the order history maintained on our site for each customer eliminates need for separate records of part numbers and other details.”

Direct access to the Custom Cable & Connector Builder is available at http://fastheat.com/store/index.php/fast-heat-custom-cable.html

Fast Heat accepts credit card payment, provides free shipping for orders of more than $500, and can ship to multiple locations from the same order. Expedited shipping is available.
