NEW WEBSITE PROVIDES FIRST COMPREHENSIVE ONLINE SOURCE FOR NORDSON RANGE OF MELT STREAM COMPONENTS FOR POLYMER PROCESSING

Global Site Highlights BKG®, EDI™, Kreyenborg™, and Xaloy® Brands in Multiple Languages

WESTLAKE, OH, U.S.A., October 5, 2013: An extensive new addition to the Nordson Corporation website focuses exclusively on the company’s polymer processing range of melt stream components for compounders, processors, converters, and recyclers. The site is designed for maximum usefulness no matter where in the world a visitor is located.

The landing page at http://www.nordsonpolymerprocessing.com gives access to the broad family of renowned product brands, now combined in a fully integrated product portfolio. These brands include:

BKG® underwater and water ring pelletizing systems.

EDI™ extrusion dies for film, sheet, and coating and slot dies for fluid coating.

Kreyenborg™ melt filtration systems, pumps, and valves.

Xaloy® screws and barrels for extrusion and injection molding.

The new site is available in English, Chinese, and German and will be in seven other languages by the end of 2016; it provides extensive information on local contacts in countries around the globe. Links to details on all products are available from listings by product type and by target application. A section on customer support provides contacts for aftermarket service, technical support, and spare parts. In a “News” section are posted illustrated press releases in multiple languages, issues of the Nordson Advances newsletter, and information on Nordson participation in upcoming industry events.

“Nordson’s new polymer processing website reflects our capability to provide plastics manufacturers and web converters with comprehensive solutions for all of their needs, and to support them with localized infrastructure for sales and technical service around the world,” said Kelly Harings, Nordson global manager of marketing communications for polymer processing systems. “We have created this comprehensive online portfolio because our mission is to offer all of our melt stream components through Nordson offices worldwide and even enable them to be sourced together as part of a package system.”
